Company History
Monark Property is a boutique, family-run commercial and residential construction company with long-standing industry origins. Principal Director Michael Jovic launched Rad Building in 1988 to service the burgeoning industrial development needs of south-east Melbourne. The same core team – including Rad (Director) and Helen (Operations) – have been with him ever since.
Throughout the late 80s and 90s, the company successfully built a string of large-scale industrial developments. After quickly establishing a reputation for excellence, they responded to the mounting demands for boutique residential developments – launching Monark Homes to meet the needs of the growing luxury residential construction market.
The team have built hundreds of quality residential homes since; with notable examples including a 200-home development for the first home buyer market, and various luxury townhouse and apartment developments. In 2006, Monark Property was launched to more accurately reflect the company’s contemporary culture, and expansion into new markets.
